Creative print, signage & branding company leads the way on practical sustainability
At SustainabilityExamples.com, we exist to shine a light on real-world sustainability action—solutions and initiatives that are making measurable impact. In doing so, we hope to inspire more SMEs in Ireland to start taking action.
This month, we’re proud to celebrate the first-ever winner of our new Initiative of the Month award: iSupply.
As a creative media provider in printing, signage, direct mail, branding, and design, iSupply has proven that even in high-impact sectors, ambitious sustainability action is not only possible—it’s already happening.
🌿 Why iSupply Was Chosen
iSupply were selected as Initiative of the Month for their bold and innovative leadership in tackling one of the signage industry's most urgent environmental challenges: polymer waste.

The signage sector has long relied on petroleum-based materials, many of which end up in landfill or incineration due to poor recycling infrastructure in Ireland. iSupply identified this linear model as a critical problem—and took action.
Through strategic partnerships with circular economy material innovators, iSupply now repurposes production cut-offs and used signage materials like Corriboard and PVC into long-life products such as cladding and skirting for the construction sector. Their take-back program and extended producer responsibility efforts reflect a deep commitment to reducing embodied carbon and preventing environmental leakage.
In 2024, they achieved an 86% site-wide recycling rate, with an average of 19% of materials being remanufactured monthly—on track to hit 90% and 30% signage circularity by 2025. These achievements have lowered operational costs, boosted sustainability performance, and earned iSupply national recognition, including Irish Sustainable Small Business of the Year 2025.
Most importantly, iSupply is not stopping here. They are collaborating with Circuleire, APT, and Ulster University to explore a closed-loop recycling solution for signage polymers on the island of Ireland—demonstrating that open innovation and industry-wide collaboration are key to systemic change.
They're also in talks with collaborating with an innovative Irish company called Green Bubble who specialise in selling reused packaging.
Their initiative is a model for how traditional sectors can transition from linear to circular operations—and a compelling example of business-led climate action that creates commercial, environmental, and reputational value.
