We had the privilege of attending and showcasing SustainabilityExamples.com at Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon—one of the world’s largest gatherings of global tech leaders, innovators, and changemakers. Being invited as a scalable impact startup within Web Summit’s prestigious Impact Programme was more than an honour; it was a validation that our mission truly matters.
Recognised as an Impact Startup Driving the UN SDGs
Web Summit’s Impact Programme highlights startups working to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Their team was particularly inspired by how SustainabilityExamples.com structures user-generated real-world corporate sustainability initiatives and maps them directly to the relevant SDGs.

AI Took Centre Stage — But People Stole the Show
Yes, AI dominated the conversations on stage. We learned a huge amount and left buzzing with ideas for building an even more intelligent and useful platform. But when we look back, what stands out most isn’t the keynotes—it’s the people.
The laughs shared, the late-night conversations, and the connections made with fellow impact founders are what we’ll remember Web Summit 2025 for. The energy, the humility, the passion… this community is building something bigger than any one startup.
Now the Real Work Begins
As the dust settles, our focus turns to nurturing the relationships formed in Lisbon and using them to expand global discoverability of the many climate-action solutions we encountered.
