Golf Ireland is the single Governing Body for Golf on the island of Ireland. Our vision is that golf is a game for everyone - for enjoyment, for health, and for life.

Our purpose is to be a modern, inclusive and cohesive governing body that untaps the immense potential of golf throughout the island. We believe in a bright and vibrant future for golf. We know that we are stronger together and are at our best when we are inclusive, open and accessible.

Golf is also a sport uniquely intertwined with nature. Our 376 affiliated clubs manage substantial areas of green space across Ireland - and we believe that land, and the communities around it, are worth protecting.

'Drive the Green' is our national sustainability strategy, and the Sustainability Leaders Programme is how we deliver it - putting free, expert support in the bag for clubs across the island.
